Fundraising
The FCHS Athletic Boosters raise money for more than 700 student-athletes at Falls Church High School. All money raised directly benefits our athletes, our coaches and the facilities on which they practice and play. Boosters pay for: athletic equipment; uniforms and gear; facility items; field maintenance; awards and scholarships; and team invitationals and coach’s conferences.
When you support the FCHS Athletic Boosters, you help our athletes compete on a level playing field.
Fundraising Events
Our Fundraising efforts allow for purchases to be made on behalf of our athletes. These include:
Materials and Supplies- 9% (General supplies, pins/letters/awards/coaches apparel).
Equipment 57% (helmets, protective equipment).
Uniforms 17% (Outfitting our teams and/or provide loaner items to teams who purchase their uniforms).
Transportation/Lodging 4% (hotel rooms for states/regionals and related transportation costs).
Admission/Membership Fees 7% (tournament fees, membership in national district, fees etc.).
Technology and Professional Services 6% (HUDL (film platform), timing for the 5k, choreography for cheer team, etc.).
Recent Upgrades/Purchase for Our Teams:
Football- 25 new helmets SY 22-23 and 25 new helmets SY 23-24, new shoulder pads and girdles, coaches clinics.
Cheer- new competition uniforms SY 22-23, new sideline uniforms SY 23-24.
Cross Country- entry fees, transportation, watches.
Field Hockey- new goals, new uniforms SY 23-24.
Golf- Green fees, travel.
Volleyball- new uniforms SY 23-24, training aids, balls.
Boys Basketball- replaced damaged uniforms, entry fees, officials fees.
Girls Basketball- new Uniforms SY 22-23, officials fees, entry fees.
Gymnastics- new leotards SY 22-23.
Swim/Dive- swim caps, half of uniform cost, watches.
Wrestling- new team uniforms, finals singlets, warm-ups.
Indoor Track- entry fees, various implements/training aids.
Boys Soccer- new set of team balls, replacement uniforms/warm ups, training aids, replacement nets.
Girls Soccer- new uniforms SY 22-23, balls, replacement nets.
Boys Lax- new helmets (20 due to rejected safety certs), SY 23-24 new elbow pads and gloves.
Girls Lax- new uniforms SY 22-23, balls, field paint and marking supplies.
Baseball- new pitching machines SY22-23, field maintenance supplies, irrigation repair.
Softball- replacement uniforms, field maintence supplies, training aids (tees and c Screens).
Girls Tennis- new uniforms SY 22-23, balls.
Boys Tennis- tennis balls.
Outdoor Track- new polevault pit SY 22-23, new high jump mat SY 21-22, entry fees, other misc equipment (pole vault poles, shot puts/discus).

Annual Fundraising Events
Falls Church High School Athletic Boosters host an annual Leaf raking fundraiser each fall. Leaf raking is supported by our Winter Sport athletes.
We offer 2 Options: Rake to the curb and Leaf Bagging (you may provide paper bags or we can provide them at a cost $1 each; paper bags comply with Fairfax County’s “no plastic bags” ordinance).
The minimum suggested contribution based on the size of your yard are: Small yards ($100); Medium yards ($200) and Large yards ($300), plus the cost of bags if we provide them.

Concessions Sales/Events
Sign up to volunteer to sell concessions at home games and other events. Proceeds from all sales support the FCHS Athletic Boosters.
