Falls Church Athletic Boosters Fundraising Campaign

Dear Jaguar Nation,
We need your help this year more than ever! As you may know, the ongoing renovation is impacting our athletic fields, gyms, concession stands, etc. throughout this school year and into the start of next. This means our traditional streams of fundraising revenue are all taking a hit — including our two largest sources of income, Boosters Memberships and Concessions Sales. The financial needs of the teams are as demanding as ever, and the Athletic Boosters goal is always to offer as much financial support as we can.
Traditionally, Boosters Memberships include the perk of free entry into home games; however, this year many FCHS home games are actually away. The Jaguar Pass sold by the Activities Department is the solution to enter games, especially for those Home Away from Home Games. Even with Jaguar Passes, there is a funding gap for our teams without Membership sales. In addition, our concessions sales are very limited this year with an occasional pop-stand at a game.
The Athletic Boosters needs our community to help us rally around our student athletes during what should be the final push of the renovation to FCHS. Here are some ways that you can support Boosters in our quest to keep the love for FCHS athletics strong and growing:
- Donate to help fill the gap, any amount makes a difference and can be directed to our general operating fund of our Scholarship Fund.
- Spread the word to your friends and family through social media
- Sponsor the Boosters, ask your employer or the owner of a business that you have a friendly relationship to become a sponsor. Remember, the worst they can say is, “No, thank you.”
- Volunteer to be part of the Boosters, we always need more people and here are some of the biggest needs
- Leaf Raking Fundraiser Coordinator
- Social Media Coordinator
- Feeder School Liaison
- Concessions Manager
One of the most impressive parts of Falls Church High School beyond the students, teacher, staff, and coaches is the pride of the community. The love for our teams and the joy we share in showing up for each other is unmatched. Please, help us continue to show up for our student athletes.
