Weight Room & Athletic Training Room Campaign

The Fairfax County Public Schools’ (FCPS’) renovation budget covers only minimal equipment and supplies for athletics. Recent cost increases have elevated our financial need for outside support to upgrade our weight room and athletic training facilities. All FCHS athletic programs and physical education classes will benefit from the weight room renovations. Â

Weight Room As-Is:
- 60’x42’; 2,520 square feet
- Chipped, rusted, mismatched metal plates & dumbbells
- Not enough weights for a full class set
- Old flooring
Weight Room To-Be:
- 55’x55’; 3,025 square feet
- New weights and bumper platesÂ
- Multiple Racks for various movementsÂ
- New Dumbbells and Barbells
- Additional equipment to supplement (medicine balls, TRX, etc.)
- High quality flooring
